The product made in this plant is used for building ships. The ships can be completed only as fast as the material and equipment for each ship arrives at the shipyard. If every man does a better day's work every day, the ships can be built faster."; "Be true to the boys who are giving their lives for you") encouraging workers to work harder to help the war effort and featuring Herbert Meyer art of a shipyard! Artist: Herbert Meyer Important Added Info: Note that this is one of a remarkable group of around 100 guaranteed authentic mostly war posters (around 75 war posters, plus 25 others, including political ones) mostly dating from before 1900 through 1945, with 15 from after that date! These were originally acquired by an archive decades ago, and they have been in storage ever since, until they were recently consigned to us. Many of these are the sorts of posters that you can find reproductions of on the Internet, but finding guaranteed originals like these is incredibly difficult (years can go by before these are offered for sale or at auction). This is a very rare opportunity to purchase any of these more than 100 posters! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster was originally folded and someone mounted it onto a very thin linen, with no excess. Either before or after it was backed, it acquired creases, small tears, and faint smudges around the edges, and some creases and scuffs on the fold, but is otherwise in pretty good condition, especially considering its age.
