An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Style A Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Fiend Without a Face, the 1958 Arthur Crabtree English science fiction (sci-fi) monster horror thriller ("New Horrors! Mad science spawns evil fiends!"; "...Taking form before your horrified eyes!"; "Fiends take form before your horrified eyes!"; "New Horror Thriller!"; "Original Story by Emilia Reynolds Long") starring Marshall Thompson, Kynaston Reeves, Kim Parker, Terry Kilburn, Michael Balfour, Gil Winfield, and Shane Cordell. Note that this movie has a very misleading one-sheet. There is a brief scene with a girl coming out of a shower wrapped in a towel, but it lasts a few seconds in the movie. They took her image and put her in between the men and the monster, so moviegoers surely were expecting that scene that never developed! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were machine folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT machine folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has a tear at left that slightly extends into the background near the woman and two tears at right that affect only blank paper, and all three were once repaired with tape from the back. It has some slight discoloration at lower left in the credits and blank border and some pinholes in the corners, but it has never been folded and the image area is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
