An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Chapter #1 ("Dangerous Men") One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

The Black Coin, the 1936 Albert Herman crime action adventure serial ("15 Episodes of Tingling Thrills!"; about Federal agents and smugglers traveling the world, including tropical islands, by airplane and boat in search of lost secret papers) starring Ralph Graves, Ruth Mix (daughter of Tom Mix, who appeared in around a dozen movies, starting as a teenager), Dave O'Brien, Matthew Betz, Clara Kimball Young, Robert Frazer, Bryant Washburn, William Desmond, Joseph Swickard, Pete de Grasse, Robert Walker (billed as "Bob Walker"), and Blackie Whiteford. Note that the Robert Walker credited above was NOT the Robert Walker who starred in the 1940s and 1950s, but a different Robert Walker who started making movies in 1913, and he appeared in an amazing 255 movies through 1953, a 40 year span, but most of those were westerns, and a lot of them were very minor roles, often uncredited.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good. There are many creases throughout the poster. There are tiny pieces of tape on the back of the top and bottom crossfolds and one piece on the back of a tear in the left of the bottom foldline. There are creases and tiny tears on parts of several foldlines and many pinholes, creases, tears, and a few stains around the edges of the poster. There are two areas of paper loss near the center of the top blank border and a few tiny areas of paper loss in other parts of the borders. THE POSTER IS IN BETTER CONDITION THAN THE ABOVE MAKES IT SOUND! Its defects are the sort that respond well to restoration. After linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look great, and there will be little paint restoration anywhere in the image!
