On the turn of a card!"; "They Told Him to... 'slap her in the kisser'... And He Did!"; "Wanna bet with Paulette... winner take all???"; "The new-fangled, kiss-angled, star-spangled hilarious story of... a girl who got jangled!"; a very odd "comedy", where a woman who is a compulsive gambler has nothing left to lose, and she bets another gambler and says she will marry him if she loses, and when she does lose, she skips town, and he hires a private detective to get her back, with predictable results) starring Paulette Goddard, Macdonald Carey, Fred Clark, Stanley Clements, Frank Faylen, and Max 'Slapsie Maxie' Rosenbloom NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster references winning Paulette Goddard "On the Turn of a Card!" (perhaps in a poker game!) and that the image has the title and credits in an ace of hearts playing card and that the stars are in front of a jack and queen of hearts! Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some smudges, creases, and tiny tears on the vertical foldline. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well. Learn More about condition grades
