An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card #7 (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Girls of the Street, the 1947 bad girl prostitution crime thriller. The only items we have ever auctioned from this movie are lobby cards that have a 1947 copyright from Sonney Amusement Enterprises of Los Angeles, California, and the title card says "Louis S. Sonney Presents". Since Louis S. Sonney was the distributor of "Should a Girl Say Yes?", which was in roadshow distribution in 1952, and since we have never seen any first release movie paper from "Should a Girl Say Yes?", we are thinking that there is a real good chance that "Should a Girl Say Yes?" is a re-titling of this movie, "Girls of the Street". We can find no other information about this movie, and it may be a re-titling a different movie. If anyone knows more about any of this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
Important Added Info: Note that first release 1947 posters and lobby cards from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a scene lobby card from this movie until we received this scene lobby card and a title card (which are in two separate auctions). We reference these cards in our description above, but we never had this scene card until now! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. There are faint smudges and scuffs scattered throughout the card, including a few in the stars' images, as well as a stain in the waiter's forehead. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of this card. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
