An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Pals of the Saddle, the 1938 George Sherman cowboy western ("Based on the characters created by William Colt MacDonald") starring The Three Mesquiteers (John Wayne, Ray 'Crash' Corrigan, and Max Terhune), Doreen McKay, Joseph Forte, George Douglas, and Elmer (Max Terhune's ventriloquist dummy!)

Condition: very good. paper loss in the middle of the left edge extending into the blue background and a 1" hole and tear in the "T" in "THE" at upper left (both areas repaired with paper and tape from the back and colored from the front); creases and small tears along some of the foldlines and edges from the poster being folded off-center as well as some creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout; 5" of separation in the top end of the vertical fold as well as minor separation at each crossfold and at some of the other ends of the foldines (most repaired with tape from the back). The poster is in better condition than the above makes it sound! Its defects are relatively minor, and are the type that respond extremely well to restoration. After linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster would look wonderful, and there would be little paint anywhere on the poster!
