An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Buster's Hunting Party, the 1926 Gus Meins silent canine dog juvenile comedy short ("A Buster Brown Comedy by R.F. Outcault"; 7th in the popular Buster Brown series; produced by Abe & Julius Stern) starring Arthur Trimble (in the title role as Buster Brown), Doreen Turner, and Pete the Dog. Note that Pete the Dog played Tige in all the Buster Brown movies starting in 1924. He also became Pete the Pup in the Our Gang movies, and he played that role until 1931, appearing in an amazing 90 movies over those seven years. Supposedly, he lived for another 15 years after he retired! Also note that the Stern Brothers were a very energetic pair of producers who made over 500 silent comedy shorts between 1917 and 1929! We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. There is much surface paper loss in the upper left of the card, affecting part of the title and credits. There is uneven darkening around the edges. There are three pieces of cloth tape on the back of the top border, but they were not put there for any restoration purpose.
