An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Kraftbacked Six-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 81" x 81") (Learn More)

Nedra, the 1915 Edward Jose silent African native jungle melodrama ("From the popular novel by George Barr McCutcheon"; "In 5 Reels"; "Pathe Gold Rooster Play") starring George Probert, Fania Marinoff, Margaret Greene, and Crauford Kent. Note that we don't know the exact plot of this movie, but based on the great image on this six-sheet poster, it seems clear that it was set in an African jungle. If anyone has more information about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: This poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great! The poster was kraftbacked soon after it was made, and metal grommets were inserted in the corners (this allowed the poster to be hung at theaters without making holes in the poster, and the kraft backing was intended to keep the poster from getting damaged as it traveled from theater to theater. The kraftbacking did its job extremely well, as, other than water stains and smudges around the edges of the poster (likely removable by chemical means during the linenbacking process), and some separation at some crossfolds and some minor defects, the poster is in about as good condition as one could possibly hope for a six-sheet poster that is 90 years old!
