Shy, awkward Trace Jordan, who always ran from trouble -- and Maria, the mixed-up teen-ager who always made it!"; "They're together! Important Added Info: Note that the still shows a great candid image of Natalie Wood and Tab Hunter on a promo tour for this movie. They are shown in Chicago on the boat of Howard Miller, Chicago's number one disc jockey, on Lake Michigan. The still shows Hunter and Miller threatening to throw Natalie overboard! What is really strange about this still is that when Wood died of an accidental drowning many years later, much was made of her extreme fear of water, and that she never went near it, for fear of drowning (perhaps she acquired that fear over the years after this movie was made)! Also note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of the still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, THE SNIPE DOES NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE FRONT OF THE STILL! The still measures 7 1/4" x 9 1/2", but it does not appear to be trimmed. Condition: very good to fine. There are a very few faint emulsion scuffs scattered around the edges of the still, but they are truthfully not at all noticeable except when the still is tilted to the light.
