Date Sold 10/9/2016Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Promotional Movie Brochure (measures 11" x 17" [28 x 43 cm]; 10 pages) (Learn More) The Getaway, the classic 1972 Sam Peckinpah romantic crime action thriller ("Screenplay by Walter Hill"; "From the novel by Jim Thompson") starring Steve McQueen (as Doc McCoy), Ali MacGraw (as Carol McCoy), Ben Johnson (as Jack Beynon), Al Lettieri (as Rudy Butler), Sally Struthers ("as Fran"), Slim Pickens, Jack Dodson, Dub Taylor, and Bo Hopkins. Note that the source novel of this movie was pretty "unfilmable" as written (especially the ending!), but Walter Hill did an excellent job adapting it, and while it is not the same story, it is in many ways faithful to the original, and it is certainly one of the best movies of its kind ever made! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this special promo brochure reprints the entire story on the movie that appeared in Rolling Stone magazine, and it reproduces the cover of the magazine on the front. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
