An Original Vintage Linenbacked Belgian Magic Show Poster (measures 25 1/2" x 39 3/4" [65 x 101 cm]) (Learn More) Ph. de Noran and Datura, the circa 1920s Belgian magic poster ("In their mysterious act"; "Nations & Mystery"; "What became of Datura") promoting a magic show, and featuring art of several magic acts, including levitation! Philippe De Bischop was a Belgian magician who performed mainly between 1905 and 1924 with his large stage illusion show, touring Europe and Northa Africa. He apparently began his career with an Arabian Nights act, billed as "Bel-Kassem" or "Kedour". He often performed with his wife Eliane, and they were billed as "Prof. de Noran and Datura". He was considered the greatest Belgian magician! If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster was never folded.
