Miles Davis was a black African American jazz trumpeter, bandleader and composer from 1944 to 1991. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006! Some of his hits include: Freddie Freeloader, Miles Runs the Voodoo Down, It's About That Time, and Stella by Starlight AND John Coltrane was an African American jazz musician from the 1940s until his death in 1967. He played saxophone with several musical greats, including Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, and Pharaoh Sanders! Some of his hits include: Giant Steps: Naima, My One and Only Love, Russian Lullaby, and I'm Old Fashioned
