An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) His Master's Voice, the 1925 Renaud Hoffman silent World War I (WWI) German Shepherd canine dog military melodrama starring Thunder the Dog (billed as "Thunder The Marvel Dog"), George Hackathorne, Marjorie Daw, Mary Carr and Will Walling. Note that this film was re-edited with new footage and sound and then re-titled and released in 1932 as "The War Dog". Note that Thunder the Dog first appeared in 1924's "Black Lightning" and appeared in five more movies over the next three years! If anyone knows more about Thunder the Dog, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that Mary Carr became a major star in the mid 1910s around the age of 40, playing the parts of saintly mothers. She continued to make movies (switching to grandmother roles) through the mid 1930s, and then continued with mostly uncredited parts until the mid 1950s. She passed away in 1973 at the age of 99! Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine. There is a tiny tear in the left of the bottom blank border and a tiny bit of paper loss in the right of the top blank border, with a few faint smudges in the borders.
