An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Invisible Boy, the 1957 Herman Hoffman science fiction (sci-fi) thriller ("The science-monster who would destroy the world!"; "Horror grips the earth as robot runs amok!"; "Screen Play by Cyril Hume"; "Based On The Story By Edmund Cooper") starring Richard Eyer, Philip Abbott, Diane Brewster, Harold Stone, Robert H. Harris, and Robby the Robot (who was so memorable in "Forbidden Planet" the year before). Note that there are those who speculate that one of the main reasons Robby the Robot appears in this movie is because MGM had spent a LOT of money creating him for Forbidden Planet, and they wanted to recoup some of that money by casting him in another film! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Mort Kunstler Important Added Info: Note that many sources credit Reynold Brown as the artist behind the great artwork on this poster. However, the six-sheet poster shows more of the artwork and it is signed by Mort Kunstler! Condition: good to very good. The poster has pairs of staple holes around the edges and along portions of the vertical foldline, and the ones in the corners have been repaired with conservation tape from the back. There is a small horizontal tear in Robby's "chest" (just above the boy's right foot) that is repaired with plastic tape from the back and there are some pairs of staple holes at lower right of the art that affect the art of the tank and man with the flame-thrower. It is otherwise in generally nice condition and could display pretty nicely as is, but after a pretty simple linenbacking the poster will look great! Learn More about condition grades
