An Original Vintage Unfolded Japanese "B1" Japan Rail Movie Poster (29x41; measures 28 1/2" x 40 1/2" [72 x 103 cm]) (Learn More) Tonari no Totoro (released in the U.S. in 1993 as "My Neighbor Totoro"), the classic 1988 Hayao Miyazaki Japanese Studio Ghibli family anime magic fantasy animated animation cartoon ("Finally an animated adventure for children of all ages!"; "Parents will be amazed - Children will understand - Everyone will love... Totoro!") featuring the voices of Hitoshi Takagi (in the title role as Totoro), Noriko Hidaka, Chika Sakamoto, Shigesato Itoi, and Sumi Shimamoto NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was used to advertise the film at JR (Japan Rail) train stations throughout Japan. Note also that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! Also note that this is a rare Japanese "B1" poster that measures 28 1/2" x 40 1/2" [72 x 103 cm]! "B1" posters are FAR more rare than "B2" posters (which measure approximately 20" x 28 1/2"), and because they are larger (similar in size to a U.S. one-sheet), they are more impressive when displayed on a wall! Condition: good to very good. There is a very light horizontal crease across the poster at upper and lower center from it being stored with posters that were tri-folded. It has some blank paper loss at upper right and some creases and two tears at lower left (both are backed with conservation tape). The main image area itself is in very nice condition, and while the poster could be displayed just as is, if one chose to have some restoration performed the poster would look great!
