An Original Vintage International Twenty-Four-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 9' x 20') (Learn More) McCabe and Mrs. Miller (released in other English-speaking countries as "John Mac Cabe"), the 1971 Robert Altman gambling romantic cowboy western ("Name your poison"; "The story of a gambling man and a hustling lady and the empire they fashioned from the wilderness."; "Purveyors of paradise."; "The story of a gambling man and a hustling woman... And trouble in the town of Presbyterian Church"; "Mister John C. McCabe & Mrs. Constance Miller-Town of Presbyterian Church 1902"; "Based on the novel 'McCabe' by Edmund Naughton") starring Warren Beatty (in the title role as John McCabe), Julie Christie (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Constance Miller), Rene Auberjonois (in his fourth credited movie role!), William Devane, Shelley Duvall, and Keith Carradine NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Richard Amsel Important Added Info: This 24-sheet poster was folded in a way that makes it resemble a tri-folded six-sheet (only much larger, of course, as there are more sections). But the length and width of the folded 24-sheet is just about the same as that of a folded six-sheet or three-sheet. This means that this 24-sheet needs to be sent in an oversized flat package, which will measure roughly 16" x 38", and it will cost more to send than a regular sized package. This twenty-four sheet was printed in 12 sections. Also note that this is an "international" style 24-sheet (meaning it was printed in the U.S. for use in non-U.S. countries). Note the lack of a ratings box and NSS information. Condition: very good. The poster was likely never used, but at some point, someone folded it across the center, thus causing one extra set of foldlines. The part of the poster that was on the outside when it was folded up has smudges on the back of the poster and some tiny tears along the foldline, but that is solely in a solid red background area, and is certainly a minor defect. It also has some minor creases and smudges (likely caused by being opened and closed over the years). It is overall in very good to fine condition! Learn More about condition grades
