An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Billie Dove was an actress from the 1920s to the 1930s. She had a three-year affair with Howard Hughes but she ended the relationship because he tried to control her career. Some of her movies include: Blondie of the Follies, The Black Pirate, Kid Boots, The American Beauty, and A Notorious Affair. Billie passed away in 1997 at the age of 94. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Billie Dove! Our consignor is a very longtime dealer/collector who acquired this signed item in the 1970s, and kept it in his collection until now, when he is selling parts of his collection. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock and it has an embossed photographer's stamp in one of the bottom corners. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good. There is an enlarged tack hole in the top center black background, but otherwise, the still is in really nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
