An Original Vintage Autographed Book Page (measures 10" x 13 1/2" [25 x 34 cm]) (Learn More) Mary Pickford was a Canadian actress from the 1900s to the 1930s. She was one of the top silent actresses, who specialized in playing young girl roles as an adult, and she was called "America's Sweetheart", and when she married Douglas Fairbanks, Sr. in 1920, the country rejoiced (and the country mourned when they divorced in 1936!). Some of her movies include: Little Annie Rooney (in the title role), Sparrows, My Best Girl, Coquette (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role), and Tess of the Storm Country. She passed away in 1979 at the age of 87. Important Added Info: Note that this book page has been personally autographed (signed) by Mary Pickford! Also note that this page was removed from a 1928 Spanish book called Album de Cinelandia. An autograph collector, Frank M. Flack, acquired this book in the early 1970s, and he separated the pages, and made an effort to get autographs from as many of the people pictured in the book as possible, and he ended up with 14 of them, and we are currently auctioning those 14 (in 14 separate auctions). Some of them are personalized to him. Our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we feel certain the signatures are authentic. Condition: very good. The page was removed from the book called Album de Cinelandia. Otherwise, it is in nice condition (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
