An Original Vintage Theatrical Special Movie Poster (measures 21" x 22") (Learn More)

Camelot, the 1967 Joshua Logan England medieval Knights-of-the-Round-Table romantic fantasy comedy musical melodrama ("A whole new world of magnificent musical entertainment"; "Based on the play 'Camelot'"; "From 'The Once And Future King' by T.H. White"; "Screenplay and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner") starring Richard Harris (as King Arthur), Vanessa Redgrave ("is Guenevere"; of course, the usual spelling is "Guinevere"), Franco Nero (as Lancelot Du Lac), David Hemmings (as Mordred), Lionel Jeffries, Laurence Naismith (as Merlyn), and Estelle Winwood

Artist: John Wanek
Important Added Info: Note that this is one of five "individual theater" advance special posters we are offering on eBay this week as separate items. They were used in New York City at the specific theaters that premiered the movie. Four of the five posters have theater information printed on the poster. These posters would have been printed in large numbers and distributed around New York City prior to the movie's opening, but it is likely that few have survived (I have never seen one of these unusual special posters before!). Note that each of the posters measures 21" x 22", and each has die-cut diagonal corners in the bottom left and right (this is how the posters were made, and is NOT a defect). Note that this Camelot window card offered here is the one of these specialposters that does not have a specific theater name printed on it, but given that it is exactly the same as the other four in all other respects, it is a virtual certainty that it was created for the same purpose. Finally, note that this poster has "John Wanek" art (all of the other U.S. posters have Bob Peak art, and it is nice to see a different sort of art for this classic title).

Condition: very good. There are smudges in the top blank border and a light 3" crease in the bottom of the left border, 2" from the bottom of the poster.
