An Unfolded Israeli Travel Poster (measures 24 3/4" x 38 3/4" [63 x 98 cm]) (Learn More) Visit Israel: The Land of the Bible, the 1953 Israeli travel poster encouraging people to visit Israel, and featuring Jean David colorful art of the Three Wise Men who visited baby Jesus and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Artist: Jean David Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It was roughly handled while it was rolled, and there are now partial horizontal creases (at a slight diagonal) scattered throughout the poster, with a 1" tear and a 3/4" tear in the upper left blank border, and tiny tears in the upper right border. There is a 5" vertical crease near the center of the top border that has a tear at the top of it, and has tape on the back, and there is tape on the back of a tiny tear near it in the top border. There are two tape repairs of small tears in the lower right border. In spite of these defects, the poster could certainly be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or one could choose to have restoration performed. Either way, the new owner will have a distinctive and rare poster to display on their wall! Learn More about condition grades
