(Learn More) Tarzan, the 2006 - 2007 Bob Crowley Broadway stage play production (based on the work by Bob Crowley, Edgar Rice Burroughs, David Henry Hwang & Phil Collins; inspired by the 1999 Disney film "Tarzan"; "The Broadway musical") starring John Strickland (in the title role as Tarzan), Merle Dandridge, Jenn Gambatese, Chester Gregory II, and Shuler Hensley If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this souvenir program book has been personally autographed (signed) by NINE of the cast members. They all signed on the cover, and they are difficult to read, but we assume that those interested can decipher who signed (and if anyone will e-mail a list of some or all of the signers, we will update this auction). Also note that we have pictured the front cover and an interior 2-page spread from this program. You can use these images to determine the exact condition of it from our super-sized image, but realize that there are some other pages you are not seeing. Note that this is one of many items that was consigned to us by legendary Tarzan collector Phil Petras. Mr. Petras was one of the greatest Tarzan fans ever, and he became good friends with several of the actors who played Tarzan, and over many decades, starting in the 1970s, he would meet with actors and actresses who had appeared in Tarzan movies, sometimes on the sets of films, and sometimes at fan gatherings. Prior to his recent passing, he consigned most of his collection to us, and we are currently auctioning many of his autographed items, sometimes from actors who played Tarzan or Jane, and sometimes from actors who appeared in one or more Tarzan movies (but the items we are auctioning may or may not be from their Tarzan films). Mr. Petras naturally did not have "certificates of authenticity", but we feel certain that the autograph on this item, and every other item we are currently auctioning from his collection, is surely authentic! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
