An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Monsieur Beaucaire, the 1924 Sidney Olcott silent France historical romantic melodrama ("Rudolph Valentino's back in the greatest of all romances!"; "From the novel by Booth Tarkington and the play by Booth Tarkington and Evelyn Greenleaf Sutherland") starring Rudolph Valentino (in the title role as Monsieur Beaucaire), Bebe Daniels, Lois Wilson, Doris Kenyon, and Lowell Sherman NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this beautiful still was purchased by our consignor from the estate of the cinematographer Harry Fischbeck. It was in an album, and has been glued to an album page. Our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain it is an original still and that it came from that estate. Also note that this still measures 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm], and the album page it is glued to measures 8" x 11 1/4". Condition: good. The still was lightly glued to an album page in each corner. Someone tried to remove it and they successfully separated the bottom right corner, but when they tried to separate the left corners, the still creased diagonally and started to tear, so they stopped. Any restorer or talented amateur could easily remove the still, but it does now have the creases and partial tears in the left corners (although it still displays great, because those defects are not anywhere near the image area). But bear in mind this unusual defect before bidding on this still. Learn More about condition grades
