An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Movie Campaign Book (measures 9" x 11 3/4" [23 x 30 cm]; 36 pages) (Learn More)

Peter Falk was an actor from the 1950s to the 2000s. He is best remembered as the title character from the long-running television series "Columbo". Some of his movies include: The Princess Bride, Murder By Death, Murder Inc. (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Pocketful Of Miracles (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and A Woman Under the Influence. He passed away in 2011 at the age of 83.
Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Peter Falk (he signed on the interior page for "NBC Sunday Mystery Movie: Columbo")! Note that this is a pretty cool item! It is the 1974 Universal studio yearbook featuring images and information about upcoming and current Universal television (TV) shows and movies which include: American Graffiti, The Sting, The Eiger Sanction, Rooster Cogburn, Family Plot (which did not have a title yet), TV's "Ironside", TV's "The Rockford Files" and many more. Of course, the most interesting thing in this yearbook is the full-page ad for Steven Spielberg's "Jaws", with very different art of a man being eaten by a shark, which we have never seen before (and of course, it gives away the ending of the actual movie)!

Our consignor is a collector of movie memorabilia who purchased this item already signed, and while he doesn't know how the signature was obtained, he (and we) believe it is likely that the autograph is authentic.

Condition: good. Someone removed the page that had Peter Falk's signature on it, and they trimmed it slightly around the edges, and then taped it to a mat (they surely framed it). It is now loose and the corresponding page at the back of the book is now loose as well, but otherwise, the book is in pretty good condition (see our images).
