An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) The Eagle and the Hawk, the 1933 Stuart Walker World War I (WWI) military romantic love triangle Royal Air Force Squadron airplane aviation fighter pilot thriller ("They dedicated their lives... to Death!"; "Live with Men who don't live long!"; "By the author or 'Wings'"; a wild story of American pilots in the RAF in World War I; an ace pilot has great animosity for an "observer", the person who flies with the pilot and helps spot the enemy, but they must fly missions together; the pilot finally succumbs to the endless stress and commits suicide, and the observer wants him to remain a hero, so he takes his body up in a plane and makes it look like he was killed in action) starring Fredric March, Cary Grant, Carole Lombard (third billed in this war movie, in a small role, playing "The Beautiful Lady"!), Jack Oakie, and Guy Standing. Note that this was still early enough in Cary Grant's career that he had the unsympathetic role of the observer, while Fredric March had the glamorous role of the ace war pilot! There are some faint smudges scattered around the edges of the still and a tiny brown stain in the background area at right center. There are two faint creases to the left of March's head.
