An Unfolded German Special Poster (measures 32" x 47" [81 x 119 cm]) (Learn More)

Gauklertag 1933 (literally translates to "Juggler Day 1933"), the 1933 German poster promoting an event to take place in February at the Lowenbraukeller (Lionbrew Cellar) in Munich, Germany. Adolf Hitler gave some of his infamous speeches at the venue and it was used as a substitute site for the anniversaries of the 1923 Beer Hall Putsch (after a 1939 assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler rendered the original site unusable). The location was destroyed during World War II (WWII) and was rebuilt later. Also, note that this "Juggler Day" event was held just one week after the Nazis seized control, and each year, the Nazis would hold a celebration of that anniversary. Finally, note that this poster features art of a smiling man and woman by Richard Klein.
