An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Something Always Happens, the 1928 Frank Tuttle silent haunted house horror romantic comedy ("Hold tight to your seats - and bring some extra hair-pins with you - when you see Esther Ralston in Something Always Happens"; about an American girl who is engaged to a rich Englishman, and he tries to entertain her by taking her to a "haunted house", but while there, they find a notorious Chinese outlaw hiding out and he tries to steal a precious gem the rich family owns) starring Esther Ralston, Neil Hamilton, Kamiyama Sojin (billed as "Sojin"), Charles Sellon, and Roscoe Karns. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Also note that Kamiyama Sojin was one of the most in demand Asian actors of the 1920s, almost always playing villains. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a few stills, but no lobby cards or posters from this movie until we were consigned this insert! It comes from an amazing collection of 1920s and early 1930s inserts that was discovered decades ago. The owner wrote three numbers in the bottom border of each and filed them based on his numbers. They are in the best condition of almost any silent inserts that exist. Note that because this poster is in such nice condition, it can be rolled in a tube, but we would prefer to send it in a large flat package for safety's sake. We will leave it to the new owner of the poster as to how it will be sent. Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It has some faint smudges around the edges (with tiny tears and a tiny bit of paper loss in the upper right blank border) and a few very faint creases scattered in the image. It has three numbers in the bottom blank border (see above). Otherwise it is in excellent condition and it is not fragile, which is remarkable for inserts from this time!
