Roman Jacowlew was a Jewish musician who migrated to France from Russia at the age of 14 and went on to create a tzigane, or Gypsy orchestra, with 14 musicians and one singer, his French wife (they later divorced). He survived the German occupation of France by hiding in another woman's house for five years. If anyone knows more about this musician, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: Maurice Harfort Condition: good to very good. The poster has darkened somewhat and it has some creases, tears and areas of paper loss along portions of the blank borders. However, the art is in pretty nice condition and after a pretty simple linenbacking the poster will look great! Learn More about condition grades
