She appeared in several New York City Broadway stage plays including: The O'Flynn, Polly, and Sunny. She was also known as "The Star-Spangled Banner Girl"! Over the years she sang the anthem at every opening day for the New York Yankees and at every World Series in which that baseball team participated between 1945 and 1960. Monroe passed away in 1987 at the age of 80. Important Added Info: Note that this stage play still has been trimmed and it now measures 10" x 13 1/2" [25 x 34 cm]. Condition: good to very good.
