An Original Vintage Folded Dutch World War II Poster (measures 31 1/2" x 43 1/4" [80 x 110 cm]) (Learn More)

Het Tweede Front (literally translates to "The Second Front"), the 1943 Dutch World War II (WWII) poster (with tagline that translates to "Scorched earth") created by the Nazi German-occupying forces to warn the Dutch people of the dangers of the Soviet armies approaching from the east. Note that this poster features art of a broken wheel and tree. Note that the poster also has a small map of Europe and a tagline that translates to "1943 is not 1918", likely indicating that this war would not end in defeat for Germany like the last one.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: fair. The poster paper has become very fragile and the entire upper quarter of the poster has separated. The folds have darkened and there is separation in most of the crossfolds. The poster is in urgent need of restoration, and certainly a competent restorer could repair the defects described above, but please bear in mind the cost of restoration before placing a bid.
