Date Sold 7/19/2012Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Pack Up Your Troubles, the 1939 H. Bruce Humberstone World War I (WWI) France Army military screwball comedy ("The Cockeyed World will laugh itself silly!"; "It's a jamboree of fun!"; a silly plot about washed up vaudevillians who end up working in France during World War I; they meet a French officer's American daughter, played by Withers, and they are mistaken for German spies and escape in a hot-air balloon, but that takes them to Germany and while there, they capture a German general and return to France as heroes!) starring Jane Withers, The Ritz Brothers (Al, Harry and Jimmy), Lynn Bari, Joseph Schildkraut, Stanley Fields, Fritz Leiber and Lionel Royce. Note that this movie was apparently remade a year later in England with an all-English cast, but with largely the same plot, and that it bears no relationship to the 1932 Laurel & Hardy movie of the same name! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. There are areas of surface paper loss and stains in the blank borders, but they do not extend into the image area, and the card is otherwise in pretty good condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
