An Original Vintage 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Still (Learn More) Ronald Reagan was an actor from the 1930s to the 1960s and who later became the 40th President of the United States! Some of his movies include: Knute Rockne: All American, Kings Row, Dark Victory, and scores of others, but he is far better remembered for his later political career and for his "Reagan Revolution" which transformed politics and brought the Republican party on an equal footing with the Democratic party, after having been dominated by the Democrats for many years! AND Jane Wyman was an actress from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: The Lost Weekend, My Man Godfrey, Blue Veil (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role), Magnificent Obsession (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role), Yearling (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role), and Johnny Belinda. In the late 1930s, she appeared with Ronald Reagan in a movie, and married him in 1940, and they were divorced in 1948, having had two children. She played Angela Channing on TV's "Falcon Crest" throughout the 1980s. AND Max 'Slapsie Maxie' Rosenbloom was a World Light Heavyweight champion professional boxer who became an actor from the 1930s to the 1960s. Some of his film roles include: Nothing Sacred, Abbott and Costello Meet the Keystone Kops, and The Bellboy Important Added Info: What a wonderful still this is! It is one of those wacky staged promo photos where studios would plant these kinds of images in newspapers, in order to get publicity for their current movies and new stars, and in this case, it has Slapsie Maxie Rosenbloom riding in a California World's Fair car at the premiere of "Slapsie Maxie's" (incorrectly written as "Slapsy Maxie"), but what makes it especially wonderful is that chauffeuring Rosenbloom are Ronald Reagan and Jane Wyman (who Reagan would marry a few months later).
