Die 100 besten Plakate Des Jahres 1984 (literally translates to "The 100 Best Posters Of The Year 1984"), the 1985 East German poster promoting an art exhibition to be held from August to September at the Galerie Am Fischmarkt in Erfurt, East Germany. Note that this contest is one of the world's earliest (and still going) poster contests. It was founded in East Germany in 1966 with the aim of promoting the medium of posters with the highest design standards, awarding prizes and raising public awareness. It now includes posters from Austria and Switzerland as well.
