An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Polish Movie Poster (19x27; measures 18 1/2" x 24") (Learn More)

Bony a Klid, the 1987 Vit Olmer Czechoslovakian crime melodrama starring Jan Potmesil, Veronika Jenikova, Roman Skamene, Josef Nedorost, Miroslav Kopecny, and Tomas Hanak. Because of the similarity of the words, it sounds like this movie would surely be about Bonnie & Clyde, the famous bank robbers, but there is actually a very long explanation of this movie on the IMDb (posted by a guest reviewer), and he says that the words actually refer to money changing in Czechoslovakia! He says that changing Czech money into dollars was forbidden at this time, and that there was a huge black market in it, and that this movie was made detailing how it was done, and the government banned it, but then it became a cult favorite, and when they realized they couldn't supress it, the government let it be released! Of course, the guy who wrote all this may have been completely making it up, and having a laugh on us, so if anyone knows more about this movie or this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
