Note that Brad Dexter was an unknown actor appearing at the Pasadena Playhouse at the time this movie was made. He was cast for the movie, but he was cut out of the film. But fortunately for him, he was cast in The Asphalt Jungle, in a small but key role, and that got him noticed, and led to his long successful career, including as one of the Magnificent Seven!
