An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Swedish Movie Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 39 1/4") (Learn More)

Show People, the 1928 King Vidor Hollywood Los Angeles California film making movie acting romantic melodrama ("the true inside story of Hollywood life"; about a would-be actress going to MGM Studios in Hollywood with her father, wanting to be another Greta Garbo, but she gets her big break in a slapstick comedy, and she falls for her comic leading man, but she is unhappy because she is not a dramatic star, and they break up, but after many adventures, they reunite at the end; supposedly, this movie was loosely based on the life of young Gloria Swanson!) starring Marion Davies, William Haines, Dell Henderson, Paul Ralli, and Tenen Holtz. Note that this was a "gimmick" movie, and the gimmick was that the movie scenes were filmed at the real MGM Studios, and director King Vidor got half of Hollywood's biggest stars to make cameo appearances as themselves! Some of the many stars who appear include Charlie Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks, John Gilbert, William S. Hart, Leatrice Joy, Rod La Rocque, Mae Murray, and more!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: very good to fine. There were some small tears in the lower left border, and someone repaired them with clear tape from the back, but otherwise, the poster is in quite nice condition!
