Menschen am Sonntag (released in English-speaking countries as "People on Sunday"), the 1930 Curt Siodmak, Robert Siodmak, Edgar Ulmer & Fred Zinnemann German silent romantic comedy melodrama (written by Billy Wilder, Curt Siodmak, Robert Siodmak & Edgar Ulmer) starring Erwin Splettstober, Brigitte Borchert, Wolfgang von Waltershausen, Christl Ehlers, and Annie Schreyer. Note that this film was written by Billy Wilder, Curt Siodmak, Robert Siodmak & Edgar Ulmer and directed by Curt Siodmak, Robert Siodmak, Edgar Ulmer & Fred Zinnemann! EVERY one of those people went to the U.S. and had significant careers. It seems kind of weird that they all got together on ONE movie!

Artist: Yen Abert
Important Added Info:

UPDATED 01/09/2012: Note that a knowledgeable collector pointed out that this is the 1930 German film "Menschen am Sonntag" and NOT "Voici Dimanche" as we initially listed. Further, the film was first released in France under the title "Les Hommes Le Dimanche" in September of 1930 and then under the title "Vive Dimanche" in December of 1930. The French poster offered here is for the December 1930 re-title.
