An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More)

The Great Love, the 1918 D.W. Griffith silent World War I (WWI) romantic melodrama (about a young American who wants to fight in World War I before the U.S. entered the war, so he goes to Canada and enlists in the army there, and is sent to England, where he is trained and then sent to the front in France; he is injured and he meets a beautiful young nurse who is the daughter of an Australian minister, and his plans change!) starring Lillian Gish, Henry B. Walthall, George Fawcett, Mansfield Stanley, Robert Harron, Rosemary Theby, George Siegmann, and Gloria Hope. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been machine folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded once horizontally and once vertically right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded example of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970!

Condition: very good. The poster had a few small tears in the corners and smudges in the borders, and someone put some tape on the back of the corner tears. Overall, it is in really excellent condition, especially considering its age! The poster is "roll-able", but because of its age, we will send it flat.
