Tertulia, the 1871 French La Belle Epoque poster advertising a stage play performance to be held at the Tertulia coffee concert music hall in Paris France, and featuring art of a pantomime clown by Jules Cheret. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny areas of paper loss around the edges, fortunately most of which were solid colored areas, but intruding into the edge of the art in the bottom right corner. It had a few creases and scuffs scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
