An Original Vintage Radio 8" x 10" Still (Learn More) Amelia Earhart was famous female pilot who was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. Earhart is surely the most famous female aviatrix of all time, and this is partly because, in 1937, she attempted to fly around the world, and her plane disappeared, and her whereabouts, and what happened to her in the plane has never been solved, despite many intense investigations into her disappearance, continuing to the present day! She was declared dead in absentia in 1939 at the age of 41. Important Added Info: Note that the still shows a great candid image of Amelia Earhart with Elizabeth Wragge, posing for the camera on the occasion of Miss Earhart signing to appear on NBC Radio on the Red Davis show, playing herself. Note that it is Miss Wragge who is wearing the aviatrix hat, and not Miss Earhart, who is on the right! Also note that there is information about the still printed on the back. Condition: fine. The still is in excellent condition! Learn More about condition grades
