An Original Vintage Deluxe 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] Still (Learn More)

Dolores Del Rio was a Mexican actress from the 1920s to the 1970s. She was sometimes referred to as the "female Valentino", and she repeatedly slept 16 hours a day to maintain her beautiful skin and hair! She had a long term relationship with Orson Welles from 1938 to 1941, but they never married. Some of her movies include: Flying Down to Rio, Portrait of Maria, Rio Blanco, Journey Into Fear, and The Trail of '98. She passed away in 1983 at the age of 78. AND Don Alvarado (born Jose Paige) was an actor from the 1920s to the 1950s. Some of his movies include: The Battle of the Sexes, Rio Rita, Westward Passage, and The Big Steal. He passed away in 1967 at the age of 66.

UPDATED 07/05/2019: Note that a knowledgeable collector identified the couple as Dolores Del Rio and Don Alvarado. They starred in five films together but we are unsure which film this is from. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
