Date Sold 9/5/2021Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Television Script (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm], 38 pages) (Learn More) The Murdocks and The McClays, the 1970 Charles R. Rondeau made-for-TV feuding backwoods hillbilly family comedy starring Dub Taylor, Kathy Davis, Noah Beery Jr., John David Carson, and Judy Canova. Note that this was a 1/2 hour pilot for a TV series, but it was never picked up so it was instead released as a TV "movie", which seems pretty lame since it was only thirty minutes long. Also note that this show was created and written by Garry Marshall and Jerry Belson, and this was one of the only complete "misses" in Garry Marshall's illustrious career (he made Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, and more)! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this TV script is the revised final pilot script draft from December 18, 1969 and the screenplay was written by Garry Marshall & Jerry Belson. Also note that there are pink revision pages and a handwritten page of notes. Condition: very good. See our multiple images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this script.
