An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 28" x 41" [71 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Harlem Hotshots, the 1945 Spencer Williams all black African American New York City jazz musical short starring Cora Harris, 'Stringbeans' Jackson, Leon Gross and Orchestra, the Red Lily Beauty Chorus, and Teddy Wilson and his Orchestra. Note that this appears to be a twenty minute short containing musical performances by black jazz musicians in New York City in Harlem. The only movie paper item we have ever seen from it has inset images of performers at the top and bottom with a silhouette of Manhattan skyscrapers, and the street signs for Lenox Avenue and 125th Street in Harlem. Important Added Info: As noted above, this is the only movie paper item we have ever seen from this short! Note also that this one-sheet measures 28" x 41" [71 x 104 cm]. Condition: fair. The poster has much separation, tears of varying lengths and small paper loss on the folds with some in the upper left blank border and some in the bottom blank border. The back of the poster was used to advertise another movie and there is much writing on the back, giving the other movie's title and credits. The poster is quite fragile and is in urgent need of professional restoration but fortunately it is mostly "all there: and after proper restoration it will look great, but bear in mind its many defects before placing a bid on it.
