While New York Sleeps, the 1920 Charles Brabin silent New York City romantic love triangle adultery blackmail crime murder melodrama short story compilation ("1920 Cinemelodrama of Life in the Great Metropolis"; comprised of three short films, all concerning crime in the big city; in the first, a woman's first husband threatens to blackmail her, and when he is killed, she claims he was a burglar; in the second, a married man has a mistress who tries to blackmail him, but the man is really a detective who arrests her; in the third, a woman married to a nice man is attracted to a gangster and has an affair with him, and the nice man's paralyzed father tells him what is going on, and they all end up dead!) starring Estelle Taylor, William Locke, Marc MacDermott, Harry Sothern, and Earl Metcalfe

Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 10 1/4" x 14" [26 x 36 cm].

Condition: fair. The card was folded down the middle at one time (it is almost completely separated) and the bottom border was trimmed off. There are many stains in the top left and some smudges scattered throughout the card. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Please do not bid on this card unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have them properly restored!
