An Autographed 3" x 5" [8 x 13 cm] Index Card (Learn More) Charles Brooks was a political and editorial cartoonist starting in the 1940s, and he worked for many decades, and was even invited to the White House! He had many, many memorable cartoons over his career, but perhaps the one he is most known for was from right after Walt Disney died, when he drew a cartoon showing the Disney characters standing mournfully by Disney's grave, and that was shared around the world! He passed away in 2011 at the age of 90. Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Charles Brooks (he signed it as "Chuck Brooks"). Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer, but he does not have a "certificate of authenticity".
