It was established in 1946 and staged many famous acts including: Edith Piaf, Siegfried and Roy, Maurice Chevalier, Marlene Dietrich, Eartha Kitt, Josephine Baker, and many, many more! Note that Le Lido's dancers are known as the Bluebell Girls, and they were founded by Margaret Kelly. Artist: Brenot Important Added Info: Note that we don't know exactly what this poster is. It seems like it may have been like a U.S. window card with a large blank area that allowed them to put information about the play dates and where the performance was. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
