Pits the dead against the living in a struggle for survival!") starring Judith O'Dea, Duane Jones, Marilyn Eastman, Karl Hardman, Judith Ridley, Kyra Schon, Charles Craig, Keith Wayne, Randy Burr, S. William Hinzman (billed as "Bill Heinzman"; as the graveyard zombie), and George A. Romero (the director, as one of the Washington reporters!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster is NOT the regular one-sheet which has green coloring. This poster is one-color and has a quote from a Pittsburgh review at the top which is not on the "regular" one-sheet (or re-release one-sheets). A search of archived newspapers shows that this quote was used to advertise the film at least as early as October 22nd of 1968. As the film premiered in Pittsburgh on October 1st, it seems certain that this poster is from the first release of the film in 1968, but AFTER it opened in Pittsburgh, and the distributor obviously wanted to use this great quote in their advertising. Condition: very good. The poster was folded slightly off of its regular machine folds which caused some light creasing along several of the folds (see our image) but the creases are not very noticeable or distracting. There are a few creases and tiny tears along the upper blank border (some are backed by tape at upper right) but none of these defects affect most of the image area, and the poster displays pretty nicely!
