Artist: Philippe Halsman Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has light brown staining scattered across the bottom edge of the bottom blank border (a very thin amount). There are a few minor creases in the edges of the blank borders and a very few faint creases and faint dot stains scattered in the background areas (they are truly barely noticeable from any reasonable viewing distance). One could absolutely display and enjoy this great poster exactly as it is, or one could choose to have it professionally "cleaned", which would likely completely remove the light staining described above, and there would be no need to back the poster.
