Note that Marilyn Monroe was given the lead in this movie, but she was not yet a major star. Her performance in this film, and the iconic gigantic image of her laying atop the famous waterfall with the water running over her body helped her career massively! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only once before auctioned a complete set of 8 lobby cards from this Marilyn Monroe movie. Surely this is because many years ago, dealers started "breaking up" the sets, selling them by the card, which makes it so difficult to find a complete set now. Condition: very good. Cards #2 and #6 have a few tiny pinholes at lower center. Card #4 has some minor surface paper loss in three portions of the right blank border and a few tiny pinholes around the edges. None of the above defects affect the image on the card and the remaining cards, including the title card, are in very nice condition, and all have no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they never have had any restoration of any kind!
