McGowan silent Our Gang Little Rascals family juvenile kids comedy short ("Our Gang Comedies"; "His Rascals in 'Lodge Night'"; produced by Hal Roach) starring Joe Cobb, Jackie Condon, Mickey Daniels, Allen 'Farina' Hoskins (one of the first black African American actors to achieve success in mainstream sound movies), Mary Kornman, Sunshine Sammy Morrison, and Ernie Morrison Sr. (father of Sunshine Sammy, who appeared in a few movies, mostly with his son) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this great still shows a black African-American teacher catching two of his students gambling and shooting craps, and the younger student has all the money! It is all the better that the young student is 3 year-old Farina, and the older student is Sunshine Sammy, and the teacher is Sammy's father, Ernie Morrison Sr.! Also note that this a movie paper item that was "authenticated" and "graded" by CGC, the famous authenticator of comic books. They gave it a grade of "very fine", and encased it in a Mylar sleeve, with an informative strip at the top, and three punch holes in the border. Condition: very good to fine. There is some tiny areas of surface paper loss in the right blank border, but the still is otherwise in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
