McCormick, William Hartnell, Fay Compton, Denis O'Dea, W.G. Fay, Elwyn Brook Jones, Maureen Delony, Robert Beatty, and Dan O'Herlihy NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is an Italian three-panel poster, created by making a poster that is the same size as three Italian one-panel posters laying side by side, making one large horizontal poster! Also note that this Italian three-panel poster was printed in 3 sections (designed to overlap) and when combined, the poster measures 39" x 108" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had evenly spaced pinholes around the edges of the poster in the blank borders. Something rectangular was placed over each pinhole. It is no longer there, but it caused the poster to darken unevenly in the borders. Other than the above odd defect (which is extremely minor, as no one will see the blank borders once the poster is framed), the poster was in quite nice condition prior to linenbacking.
